No springfields- the link Imp posted. I'm not spending £60 on a blanket. They do say they come in various shades, I wasn't expecting quite that variation though.

Given that mine are just 'blankets' that are not accurate anyway I think we can do a swap there.

Yeah sure. Mine is just a blanket really, just its an RAF one (has a RAF Wyton tag on it). A red lining is fine, I believe thats correct for British wartime issue anyway so I can call it captured kit.

Just watched period film at Nijmegan bridge - wounded soldiers covered in cream blankets!
I'm sure they did use them as they used any blanket they could get their hands on and they probably pilfered plenty of cream/white ones from hospitals. I'd just prefer a grey one as thats the classic issue colour.

I was given a US blanket from the 1940s, fairly good exept for 1 moth hole, I never used it so put I it on ebay, I was expecting to get £5 to £10 for it, in the end it went for £47 + £6 p&p
